Satish Narayan Dies - Wife Sets Husband on Fire

A MAN is fighting for life after his wife allegedly set his genitals on fire, leaving him with burns to 85 per cent of his body.
Rajini Narayan, 44, appeared briefly in Adelaide Magistrates Court today charged over the fire at her family's home in Unley early yesterday, AdelaideNow reported.
The fire left Satish Narayan with terrible burns and prosecutor Senior Sergeant Bruce Faehrmann said he may not survive.
"(Mr Narayan) was set on fire ... his condition has deteriorated to the extent that he has 85 percent burns," Sen-Sgt Faehrmann said.
"It is possible that he may not survive so the charges may be reviewed."
The Advertiser understands police will allege Mrs Narayan put methylated spirits on her husband's genitals as he slept then set fire to him.
Mr Narayan was believed to have knocked over the bottle of meths as he jumped out of bed, sparking a major blaze.
Mrs Narayan is charged with one count of aggravated causing harm with intent, arson and three counts of acts to endanger life.
Mrs Narayan stood with her back to the court at her hearing today.
She made no application for bail and was remanded in custody to appear in court in January.

Well, no matter what he did, who he did it with, what this lady did is wrong. There are other ways and means to resolve issues in lives. It seems the victim may not survive, what happens now ? So many lives in shatters ! Sad.

It seems that she didnt have any support - but I personally dont agree with what she did, there are always other ways and means. Anger and violence and hatred cant be the answer. Now what happens ? Surely there would be children involved - imagine what would be going through their minds. Indeed very sad.

Get a life woman, who will trust loving this woman..everyman will hold his nuts and run for his life in the presence of this kinda ladies..She has simply axed her own feet...Poor guy, I hope and pray he survives the ordeal.

Agree what she did was wrong. Just a bit of analysis on this issue, obviously there was something going on and she may have had reasons; but to burn someone (lets for a moment forget the body part) but setting someone alight while he is sleeping is cowardly. Tackle your issues head on; confront it. Walk away, shelf the issue, ignore the issue, but to premeditate and plan such an act is spineless. Sorry I feel for the woman now, and then again what was going on in her mind – needs to properly analysed by professionals.

Honestly speaking..there is no excuse..if there is any doubt on the ladies mental condition,than she should be tested by mental authorities,however
the benefit of doubt is..she can very well recognise her crap and not eat it too..so how can she not see it is a human being she is doing harm to.
Woman,come on move on,if he is cheating so be it,it is his life,we are no owners of it.We have a life lets move on.
Women, we make ourselves very cheap by fighting back and hurting the cheat.As if there is no more fish left in the sea.
